Description
A compact IP65 screw-mounted motor brake and soft-starter combination, designed to completely replace three-phase star-delta starters on motors rated from 7.5kW to 15kW.
- Built-in self-monitoring, automatic shutdown and indication for phase failure, phase sequence, incorrect frequency and semiconductor over-temperature.
- Braking current (Ibr) adjustable from 0.5A to 65A (15kW), with braking time (tbr) adjustable from 1 to 30 seconds.
- Soft start torque/voltage (Mon) adjustable from 30 to 80%, with start time (ton) from 1 to 30 seconds.
- Options for PTC thermistor motor protection and motor standstill monitoring.
Star-delta motors must be permanently rewired in delta configuration. This device does not use a contactor to control the motor, so the motor remains connected to the mains when stationary: isolate the supply before any work on the motor. Due to the many variations of machine design, this unit is not supplied prewired.
